The website https://cretan-market.com/ is engaged in retail sales of products. This web store has reported its “mail order retail” activity to the local competent municipality in accordance with applicable laws.

INFORMATION ON DISPLAYED PRICES
The displayed prices for the products do not include VAT, as the company’s activities and registered business do not fall under VAT liability.
ORDER INFORMATION
The displayed products can only be ordered online and will be sent by mail. Ordering is possible without registration. We do not accept orders by phone.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
Orders are processed on working days from 8 AM to 4 PM. Orders can be placed outside the indicated processing times; however, if an order is placed after working hours, it will be processed the following working day. The general delivery deadline for ordering products is within 1 working day following the payment (i.e., once the amount appears in our bank account). For custom, personalized services, the deadline will be agreed upon after receiving the order, which will also be documented in a contract. If you do not receive an automatic confirmation email from us within 24 hours after sending your order, your order was not successfully recorded (the contract was not concluded), and we kindly ask you to contact us using the provided contact details. If your order has been successfully sent and confirmed by us, but the payment is not completed, your order will be canceled after 14 days (the 14 days are calculated from the order placement). Order cancellation does not incur any costs.
ORDER PROCESS
- Add the product to the cart.
- After clicking the cart button, you will be directed to the cart page, where you can modify your order and its quantities. Select the shipping method. By clicking the „Proceed to Checkout” button, the system will navigate you to the checkout page.
- Enter your billing information. If the shipping address differs from the billing address, please use the checkbox before the „Shipping to a different address” option to provide the shipping address where you expect the ordered product.
- On this page, you will also find the details of your order in the Order Content table and the shipping methods you selected. Then, choose how you want to pay for the product. You can finalize your order by clicking the „Submit Order” button.
- After sending your order, you will receive a confirmation email in which the system verifies the details of the order.
Ordering is also possible without registration! If you notice any incorrect information after sending your order, you can correct it during the phone confirmation or notify us through any of our contact details.

In what case can you exercise your warranty rights?
You can assert warranty claims against A&S Cretan Market Ltd. in the case of faulty performance according to the rules of the Civil Code.
What rights do you have under your warranty claim?
You can choose from the following warranty claims:
You can request a repair or replacement, unless this is impossible or would incur disproportionate additional costs for the company compared to fulfilling another claim. If you did not request or could not request a repair or replacement, you can demand a proportional reduction of the compensation or you can also repair the defect at the company’s expense or have it repaired by someone else or – as a last resort – you can withdraw from the contract. You can also switch from one warranty right to another, but you will bear the cost of the switch unless it was justified or caused by the company.
What deadline do you have to exercise your warranty rights?
You must report the defect immediately after discovering it, but no later than two months after its discovery. However, please note that you cannot exercise your warranty rights after two years from the performance of the contract.
Against whom can you enforce your warranty claim?
You can assert your warranty claim against the company.
What other condition is there for exercising your warranty rights?
Within six months from the performance, there are no other conditions for asserting your warranty claim other than reporting the defect, if you can prove that the product or service was provided by A&S Cretan Market Ltd. However, after six months from the performance, you are required to prove that the defect existed at the time of performance.

In what case can you exercise your product warranty rights?
In case of a defect in movable goods (products), you can exercise the rights or claims defined in point 1. at your discretion.
What rights do you have based on your product warranty claim?
You can only request the correction or replacement of the defective product if it could not be downloaded, or if it could not be completed due to technical problems.
When is the product considered defective?
The product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements applicable at the time of its marketing or if it does not possess the properties specified by the manufacturer in its description.
What deadline do you have to exercise your product warranty rights?
You can exercise your product warranty claim within two years from the marketing of the product by the manufacturer. After this deadline, you lose this entitlement.
Against whom and what other condition can you exercise your product warranty claim?
You can only exercise your product warranty claim against the manufacturer or distributor of the movable good. In case of asserting a product warranty claim, you have to prove the defect of the product.
Under what conditions can the manufacturer (distributor) be exempt from its product warranty obligations?
The manufacturer (distributor) can only be exempt from its product warranty obligations if it can prove that:
- it did not manufacture or market the product within its business activities, or
- the defect was not recognizable at the time of marketing according to the state of science and technology, or
- the defect of the product results from the application of legislation or mandatory authority regulations.
The manufacturer (distributor) needs to prove only one reason to be exempt.
Please note that you cannot assert warranty claims for the same defect simultaneously under warranty and product warranty claims. However, if your product warranty claim is successful, you can assert your warranty claim against the manufacturer for the exchanged product or repaired part.

In case of faulty performance, A&S Cretan Market Ltd. is obligated to provide a warranty according to Government Decree 151/2003. (IX. 22.).
What rights do you have and within what deadline under warranty?
When is the company exempt from warranty obligations?
The company is exempt from warranty obligations only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance.
Please note that you cannot simultaneously assert warranty and product warranty claims for the same defect; otherwise, you are entitled to the rights defined in points 1 and 2 independently of warranty.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without justification. Similarly, in the case of a contract for the provision of services, if the performance of the contract has begun, you have the right to terminate the contract within 14 days without justification. The withdrawal/termination period is 14 days from the date of receipt of the product.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal/termination, you must send an unambiguous declaration of your intention to withdraw/terminate (for example, by post, fax, or electronic mail) to the following address:

You will be considered to have exercised your right of withdrawal/termination within the deadline if you send your withdrawal/termination declaration before the expiry of the specified deadline. The consumer is responsible for proving that the right of withdrawal and termination as defined in Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) has been exercised in accordance with the regulations, thus it is advisable to send the declaration via registered mail. The consumer must return the product without undue delay after the exercise of the right of withdrawal, but no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal, to the following address:

You bear the direct cost of returning the product. You are only liable for the diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
In the case of a valid withdrawal, we will refund your payment without delay, but no later than within 14 days from the receipt of your declaration of withdrawal, using the same payment method that you used for the initial transaction. You will not incur any costs due to this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods.
You cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the following cases:
a) in the case of a non-prefabricated product that was produced at your request or was specifically tailored to your needs;
b) in the case of a sealed product that you unsealed after receipt;
c) in the case of a product that deteriorates quickly or has a short expiration date.
